The landscape around Lienz is characterized by the position in the south and the magic of the bizarre of de Dolomites and also of the favourable climate.

You can choose your favourite leisure-time activity between a full range of nearly all forms of sport. Whether hiking, climbing, cycling, mountainbiking, playing tennis or golf – you are able to practise everything.

Osttirol is a paradise for rafting, paragliding, canyoining or other forms of fun sport.

The hotel is a perfect starting point for numerous motorcycling tourings, for example to South Tyrol, Nockberge or the Großglockner.

If you prefer an unhurried holiday you get to know the surroundings of the hotel by doing a comfortable walk or a cycle tour. For mountaineers Osttirol is ideal. Tyrolese limestone Dolomites, the Großglockner, the Großvenediger and the Schobergruppe are only a few samples.

Directly in front of the hotel you find the access to the cross-country ski trail and the ski bus stopf. With the ski bus you get tot the skiing areas of Lienz, the “Zettersfeld” and the “Hochstein”.

A sledging on the 2 km long toboggan run in Amlach or on the 8 km long run from the Dolomitenhütte (accessible by taxi) is possible with one of our toboggans which you can lend at the hotel.

On the proper ice skating court the children can have fun with there skates and the adults are able to do a curling match.
