Paragliding

Over Lienz you find two flying areas for paragliding – the “Zettersfeld” and the “Hochstein”. The latter is particularly suitable for flights in the morning. The wide Al-pine meadows offer a magnificient view over the Dolomites right up to the Hohe Tau-ern. In the near Drau-valley the Emberger Alm is functioning as a launch site for paragliders and hang-glider.
