Arrival by car

If you have a navigation system then please enter Ulrichsbichl as street and Amlach as location. The nearest major city is the city of Lienz. In the route planner you have the possibility to choose different itineraries.

 

Arrived in the city of Lienz there are different possibilities to find us:

Arriving from the Felbertauern Tunnel (Kitzbühel)
After the sign "Lienz" you drive straight ahead to the roundabout and take the third exit direction Spittal/Drau, You reach a traffic light and drive straight ahead to the next traffic light where you turn right, drive through an underpass and over a bridge passing the stadium of Lienz direction Amlach. Leave Lienz and drive via Amlacherstraße to Amlach, where you keep left twice and leave Amlach. You reach the sign Ulrichsbichl, then turn slightly left and go straight ahead about 150 meters and you will see on the right side the Hotel Laserz.


Arriving from South Tyrol (Val Pusteria)
Variant 1) Via the city of Lienz: After the sign "Lienz" you drive straight to the roundabout and take the first exit direction Spittal/Drau. You reach a traffic light and drive straight ahead to the next traffic light where you turn right, drive through an underpass and over a bridge passing the stadium of Lienz direction Amlach. Leave Lienz and drive via Amlacherstraße to Amlach, where you keep left twice and leave Amlach. You reach the sign Ulrichsbichl, then turn slightly left and go straight ahead about 150 meters and you will see on the right side the Hotel Laserz.

 

Variant 2) Via the villages of Leisach and Amlach: On the B100 Drautal road in Leisach turn right before the bus stop towards Leisacher Schwimmbad, cross the railway tracks and then stay on the road slightly left, cross the bridge towards the "Rodelbahn" (toboggan run) and turn left direction Amlach. Drive straight through Amlach and at Amlacherhof Camping then slightly right towards Ulrichsbichl (local sign Amlach ends). After a few hundred meters you reach the Ulrichsbichl local sign, then turn slightly left and go straight for about 150 meters and you will see the Hotel Laserz on your right.

 

Arriving from Oberdrauburg (Drautal) or Iselsberg (Mölltal - Großglockner)

After the sign "Lienz" at the first traffic light, go straight ahead and turn left at the second traffic light. Drive straight through an underpass and over a bridge straight on for about 1.5 km. After the welcome sign in Tristach turn right and at the next crossing turn right again. (At this intersection, you will see the church of Tristach on the left). You now drive on a narrow asphalt road and reach Ulrichsbichl. Please turn left into the parking lot of Hotel Laserz.

 

Parking

Parking is free. The parking is outside in front of and behind the hotel. If you arrive by bike, we have a small garage for parking your bikes.

Public transport

By train from Italy or Carinthia to Lienz or by bus from Kitzbühel to the railway station of Lienz. We will gladly pick you up from the station for free. Please let us know in advance.

Free public transport

With the guest card (available at the reception after arrival) you can use the public buses in East Tyrol free of charge. Our stop is "Amlach (TIROL) Ulrichsbichl" and is served by the Regiobus line number 2 . Timetable information at the reception or at www.vvt.at. In winter, the ski bus takes you several times a day to the Zettersfeld ski area of the Lienz cable cars.
